Reading the title you have probably guessed this is a post about
McFly and seeing them at Wembley Arena. I realise I am extremely lucky and lucky to get standing tickets to see them and it will be something I will remember it forever!

If you don't know who McFly are they are a 4 piece band, made up of Danny Jones, lead vocalist
and guitarist, Tom Fletcher, lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist, Harry Judd,
drummer and Dougie Poynter, backing vocalist and bass guitarist.
Seeing them on the 18th May at a sold out Wembley Arena was a
(cliché coming) the best night of my life. When the opportunity arose to see
them with 3 friends I immediately agreed and spent the rest of the night
screaming around the house in delight at the fact I have been waiting for the
moment for about 9 years!
So after booking the tickets, the next few weeks and months were
filled with countless conversations about the boys and the long awaited set
list, instead of concentrating on ever approaching exams (Oops!)
Finally the big night arrived and I felt a mixture of excitement,
nervousness and tiredness.
So after Beth (McFly Lover) arrived at my house, my dad, mum,
Katie (fellow McFly lover) and set of en route to pick up the final
McFly-ette (fail.) Tilly. We were so exited and were practically screaming the
lyrics to every McFly song on the way to London which made the journey go alot
quicker, (that paired with playing sweet and sour, always a fave!)
When we arrived at the arena we ran straight to the front as to
get a good view, we were only around 8-9 rows back and my hands were shaking,
my childhood band were going to be on that stage in a few minutes.
The first support act were ‘The Vamps’, a band formed through
Youtube and are made up of Bradley Will- Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and
Tristan Evans. Their covers and original songs are so catchy and are so cute!
(check them out here).
But it wasn't only The Vamps, as it was then announced that JAMES BOURNE,
YES BUSTED JAMES BOURNE was the next support act. #WHAAATTT. I could die
happy! James sung a few Busted faves and a few of his own songs.
If that wasn’t exiting enough everyone suddenly looked left and
began talking to each other about who was seated. It was only CARRIE HOPE
FLETCHER! Tom’s sister, she also does Youtube covers and of course are amazing
(Check her out here .So
of course then everyone freaked out all over again.
Then finally MCFLY ENTERED THE STAGE! *faint*. They firstly sung
‘Memory Lane’ and the whole arena was electric. It made me think that every
single person was here for McFly and how their music has related to everyone. I
felt so lucky to have been to Wembley and seen them live. After 2 hours the
show was over and they sang ‘The Heart Never Lies’ ( a favourite of mine.)
There voices are so incredible and I know they will be around for many years to
come
A particular highlight from the concert was the whole of Wembley
Arena dancing the YMCA, just amazing! 12,500 people (Say what?)
I have also linked a video from the concert of them singing
‘Love is Easy.’ Excuse my awful singing in the background and occasionally in
the foreground!
