Video?

Hello, so from the title you are probably wondering what is going on, well allow me to explain. On Saturday I went shopping with a few friends and I bought some goodies from Primark and New Look and also popped into Superdrug. So instead of doing a blog post about these and just taking pictures, I thought that to see the items in more detail and to explain a bit more about them I would do a video on Youtube. But I realized that some of you may not want to see everything just the jewellry, so I have put the pictures of these up  as well. But if you want to watch the video the link is here.

Phew! That was long! So let’s get to the pictures...

Seasonal Songs- Summer '13

Hello chummies (feel like I haven’t used that greeting in ages). So as we have been having wonderful weather in the South of England and probably everywhere else, I have been off from school since the end of June (perks of being in year 11) I have been doing my fairshare of relaxing and listening to some pretty great songs, in my opinion so hopefully I can give you some ideas on the songs I am loving so far this season.
So with that in mind I thought I would start a series of my favourite songs for each season and call it Seasonal Songs: (Insert name of season). This will allows you to find out what my music taste is (Hint: very random!) and help myself to be a bit more organised with my blog posts!
So after that very lengthy intro hopefully all of you have carried on reading or I will be talking to myself (not so fun). So there are several artists I have been loving and so many great songs have been released so here are some of my favourites.

I have recently gotten into listening to Ed Sheeran again. I used to be a huge fan of his after seeing him live in 2011, and have always loved ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.’ I think it is so catchy and so well written. But recently I have been loving ‘She’ from his album ‘Songs I Wrote with Amy.’ This song is so calming and just a lovely song to listen to when relaxing. The acoustics’ by Sheeran also create a calming effect. The song is pretty much about a woman who Sheeran seems to be in a relationship with and he is describing his feeling and emotions towards her. Link here

I have also been liking, well more like loving. HUNTER HAYES! You may have seen my numerous tweets about this amazing artist, in my opinion. He is a country singer, but his music also has some aspects of rock shown in the song ‘More Than I Should.’ His songs are so catchy and each of them is different, some are ballads- ‘Wanted’ and ‘Somebody’s Heartbreak’ and others are inspired by country ‘I Want Crazy.’

What About Love (Cover) - The Vamps

I Would- Justin Bieber

Clean and Clear Advantage Spot Treatment Gel Review

Heeyyyaa! So today I thought I would do a review on a product I have been using for about 2-3 weeks and I thought I would let you know about it. It is the Clean and Clear Advantage Spot Treatment Gel. In partner with this product I have also been using the Clear and Clean Morning Energy Facial Scrub which I will do a separate blog post about and will be up in the next few days.

Oh and before I forget I was reading through my stats and I saw that I have over 250 pageviews! :O. My first reaction was whaaaatttt, and I just want to say thank you J I hope you will continue reading my blog and if you have anything you want me to talk about in my next post then leave it as a comment or tweet me (AbbeySteva)

Clean and Clear Advantage Spot Treatment Gel.

I first heard about this product after watching Brogan Tate xo ’s ‘June Favourites’ and she was talking about the gel had cleared her skin really well. So after reading a few more reviews, I decided to purchase it from Boots, I got this on a 2 for £5 deal, but on its own it retails for £4.59.

The consistency of the gel is very liquid and contains alcohol, so if you have spots underneath your nose or near your eyes it smells very strongly and when I first applied this it stung for around 2 minutes (the same feeling if you put toothpaste on them). I apply this twice a day, once in the morning and before I go to sleep. I find it best to apply then as I remember and as the gel is invisible it is easy to apply it underneath makeup, but would recommend using moisturiser after applying as it does leave your skin a little dry.

One of the promises the product makes is that it helps to reduce spots in 4 hours, and this for me didn't happen but over a couple of days I could definitely see the redness and the spots themselves reducing. One recommendation I would say to anyone wishing to try this product is not to you it too often throughout the day, no more than twice as I discovered it dries the area around the spot and agitates your skin and makes it twice as red.

I would definitely repurchase this product again as the difference in my skin is amazing and even though I feel it is expensive for the amount of product you get, it has blown me away!

Hello, so I haven't done an outfit of the day in ages, so I thought today I would do one. Because I am so interesting!

June Favourites '13

Heya, well hasn't June just come and gone! It has gone by so quickly though and there was some ups and downs, but a hell of a lot more ups- one being prom and a down being leaving school (Say what!)

But anyway, today I thought I would do my June favourites, I have never done a favourites post before, but we will see how it goes. I hope you enjoy :) Stevie xox

My first favourite is this nail varnish by MUA in Frozen Yogurt. I wore this is an Outfit of the Day, and it is just a dark lilac colour. In the bottle it looks a lot lighter that it does when on the nails, the consistency is amazing but 2 coats are needed to get a good coverage. It doesn't chip very easily and lasts along time when applied. I purchased this from Superdrug for £1.00. I think the price is amazing for the quality of the polish and would defiantly recommend to others and they come in a variety of colours.
My next favourite is the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser. As my skin is quite dry and I use makeup to cover blemishes and even out my skin tone, I find that without using this moisturiser, my skin looks very powdery and My mum also uses this product and she recommended it to and I have noticed a big difference. It leaves my skin soft and a good base to apply my foundation onto. You can purchase this from Boots for £3.79

Random Favourites
I love this body spray from Boots in the scent Wild Strawberry. I have used the same bottle since the beginning of May and it is still going strong. The scent just reminds me of summer and is obviously very fruity. It lasts on your skin for a long time as well and is just a very girly and fruity smell. I purchased this from Boots for £2.00

Music Favourites
I have been loving a lot of different genres of music this month and discovering a lot of new artists. I have quite a few as I am just a music junky!
The Way- Ariana Grande ft Mac Miller
Treasure- Bruno Mars
Give Me Love- Ed Sheeran
Home- Gabrielle Aplin
Undone- Hailey Reinhart
Radioactive- Imagine Dragons
On Top of the World- Imagine Dragons
I Want Crazy- Hunter Hayes
Storm Warning- Hunter Hayes
The Other Side- Jason Derulo
Magic-One Direction
Blurred Lines- Robin Thicke ft. T.I. and Pharrell- (What a surprise!)
High School- Nicki Minaj ft Lil Wayne
Love is Easy (Cover) - The Vamps and Carrie Hope Fletcher
Where We Used to Run- Landon Austin

Just a little note...
The whole month of June has been amazing, but in a way sad because it was the month I officially left high school, and without going all soppy on you high school had its ups and downs but overall I have made so many great friends and met fabulous people and teachers and even though they probably won't read this, they have made my time their amazing! Hope that wasn't too soppy ;)
