Another Nail Polish Haul... Oops

Heya, so today I am going to be showing you a few new nail polishes I picked up over the last month-ish. I have a few video and blog post ideas that will be coming up in the next couple of weeks and one is hopefully going to be doing a collab with a friend :) Make sure you are following my Youtube channel because some things I talk about on their may not be on here and vice versa, but let’s just get on with it... Stevie xox

So the first 4 nail polishes I got at a market when I went to Southampton with friends and there were a few tacky ones but I managed to find some gems and even better, they were only £1 each!

Rimmel Nail Polish in 'At Ease'- Number 520
I really like this nail varnish, but haven't yet used it as I think it is the perfect colour for Autumn and also if you have a brighter or more of a dramatic outfit on this is a good polish to add a little colour to your nails. I have only one other Rimmel nail polish and I really like the consistency so I am hoping good things for this one.

Sally Hansen 'Hard as Nails'- White Tip
I know that 'Sally Hansen' is quite widely available in the US, but I haven't seen to many products in for example Boots or Superdrug, so I thought I would pick it up and try it because I have been wanting to try and do a French manicure for ages and also because it was ridiculously cheap! I have had a couple of goes at doing it and safe to say I am awful, but I also uses it to do designs and make a feature nail which I am slightly better at.

Wet N Wild Base Coat
This is again another brand I haven't ever seen in the UK and I have been trying out different base coats and decided to try out this one as I have heard good things about this brand. I have been using it for about a month now and I love it! It makes my nail look shiny and is an amazing base for all of my nail polishes.
Sinful Colours- Over Easy- Number 883
I had never heard of this brand until after I had brought this nail varnish, but I just really loved the colour and owned nothing like it and thought it would good for Autumn/Winter. I then saw a haul video and (I can't remember what her channel is called!)  she mentioned that they sell them in Boots for around £2. I really like the consistency and I only need 1 or 2 coats to get a matte finish and they dry really quickly.

Barry M Nail Polish in Berry- Number 308
As you have already guessed I love Barry M nail varnishes! So when I saw this lilac colour I have been looking for for ages and for only £2 .99 I had to buy it! I think it is a great spring colour and although we are transitioning into Autumn, I think it is still a great colour and will continue to wear it throughout the year. The consistency is great and only 2 coats are needed for a matte finish.

Barry M Nail Polish in Raspberry- Number 273
I only got this nail varnish a couple of days ago, and I tried to resist the Barry M stand but as I said I love them! So when I saw this colour I just thought it was the perfect Autumn colour but also Winter as it has deep shades of red. Again the consistency is great and only a few coats are needed. I would definitely recommend both of the Barry M polishes

August Favourites '13

Oh dear, so it has been a while... I don't really have an excuse as to why I haven't been uploading frequently but I have had my first day at college so if you want me to do a 'What's in my College Bag' or my essentials for high school and hints and tips let me know!
So today I am going to be doing my August Favourites! August has been an odd month, the summer holidays, having my taster day at college, getting my GCSE results and spending some great times with great people. So here we go...
Stevie xox

Superdrug- Dry Shampoo in Chocolate Brownie.
I bought this a while ago and have been using it all throughout August, and it is the one specifically designed for brunette hair. I find it works really well and not a lot is needed to make your hair look clean and fresh. I would definitely repurchase this product and I bought it from Superdrug on a buy one get one free deal and I think it was about £2.

Simple- Eye Make-up Remover.
As I have started wearing eyeliner more regularly and I use liquid eyeliner, I find I have to use something a bit stronger and this really work's. It takes all of my eye makeup off and doesn't leave my skin dry or red. I would also recommend this, my mum actually bought this so I am not to sure where it is from or how much it is but you can buy it from pretty much anywhere- Boots, Superdrug or supermarkets and I don't think it is retailed at more that £5

Collection 2000 Extreme Black Felt Tip Eyeliner.
I bought this after using another 'Collection 2000' eyeliner and I couldn't get along with it, so I decided to use the felt tip one instead and nib is really thin and precise so you can make your eyeliner look how
you want it too. The only downside is after wearing it it for most of the day it transfers to your eyelid, but it is quite a cheap eyeliner so I wasn't expecting miracles! I bought this from Superdrug for around £2.99

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Polish in Mango.
First off I love the name of this nail polish and the colour is amazing, I didn't know if it would suit my skin tone but I was very happy to find out it did and looked really nice and glossy. The downside was for me it chipped really easily and half way through the day most of the polish had chipped off, so I would recommend using a top coat as this is mistake I made. I purchased this from Superdrug for £3.99

Random Favourites.

Silver Heart Ring- Primark and Silver Flower Ring- New Look.
I have been loving wearing these rings together as the heart one is very simple and is nice to wear with a more statement necklace or outfit. The heart ring was in a pack of 8 for £1 and the flower ring was in a pack of 4 for around £2

Sunglasses
Since the weather is still pretty nice in England I have been getting good use out of my sunnies! These were originally my mum's and I think she got them from Superdrug, and I just love them.

Music Favourites.

So many of my favourite songs are similar to my last month's favourite songs but there are a few new additions...

Love Me Again- John Newman

Can We Dance- The Vamps

Best Song Ever- One Direction

Runaway- Olly Murs

Classic- MKTO

Everybody's Got Somebody But Me- Hunter Hayes

Mine- Glee Cover.
