Winter is my all time favourite season, it's acceptable to over wear jumpers, overdosing on coffee and hot chocolate and no shaving the legs! So here is my playlist for Winter 2013...

October Favourites '13

Heya, so this post is going to be my October Favourites,This month has pretty much consisted of shopping, friends, college, and way too many trips to Starbucks!  I honestly cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by and it is already November! This is possibly because of leaving high school but I am super exited that Winter is here!  So here we go... Stevie xox

Cath Kidston Hand Cream- Blossom
So as it is getting colder and I get super dry skin in the Winter this hand cream has been really useful. My mum got a set of these for Christmas last year, and I have only just started using it! It is the perfect size for taking to college for on the go. The scent is obviously floral and stays on your hands for a really long time. It also prevents my hands from getting dry for around 3/4 hours.
Barry M Nail Polish in Raspberry (273)
I LOVE this colour for the Autumn/Winter time! This colour goes with so many things and is a great in between red, as it is not bright or a brick red or almost a black red, just a nice in the middle! All of the Barry M polishes I have tried have really got coverage and only need two coats, they are also really reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend these polishes. They are available in Superdrug and Boots (I think!)
Boots Natural Collection Body Spray- Vanilla
I received this as a birthday present last year in December and I love this scent! This single bottle has lasted me through the whole year and I think this is the perfect Winter scent. They have these is lots of different scents, I also recommend the Strawberry one!  They are super cheap and the scent lasts a long time on your clothing and are really refreshing for a little pick me up. These are available in Boots.
Dove Go Fresh Body Lotion- Green Cucumber and Green Tea Scent.

I got this a couple of months ago when it first started to get a bit chillier, and my skin was getting really dry. I spotted it in Tesco's, and I believe it was discounted and decided to give it ago. It is really moisturizing and more of a liquid consistency. The only thing I am not too keen on is the scent, it is really strong, but it doesn't last very long on the skin which I like. I believe this was around £2 discounted from Tesco's.

Events.
Nothing amazing happened this month, but I at the end of the month we had half term and I met up with lots of my high school friends, as we all went to different places after high school and did different things. A levels, courses, college, sixth form!
Pretty boring but I also moved Maths classes. I have to retake Maths at college one day a week as I didn't get a C (Boo!) and it is so much better, mainly because of the class size. My old maths class had possibly 30-40 people in it! Whattt! Now the most that has been in my class is around 12!

 Music
This month a few new albums have been released and I have been listening to a lot of new artists I had never really thought of before, so here is a selection of my favourite songs from the month of October...

In Case- Demi Lovato
Neon Lights- Demi Lovato
Legendary Lovers- Katy Perry
If I'm Gonna Fall in Love- A Rocket to the Moon
Pieces- Lewis Mokler

High School Hairstyles '08-'13

Heya, so this is my first blog post of November! And my October Favourites will be coming soon...

But today I will be talking about my hairstyles from year 7-11. Looking back I honestly don't know how my parents let me out of the house looking like this and I obviously didn't have access to a straightener! Not that I use one now but dear me! So here we go...
Stevie xox

Year 7.
Oh dear me! What was this all about! In year 6 I had just below shoulder length hair and then I had all of it chopped off at the very end of year 6. I must of thought it looked nice and thought it was really cool having all the different layers in my hair. Why!!!! Thankfully, I haven't found any other pictures from year 7, so let’s just hop right along to year 8...

Year 8.
So during  year 8, I wanted to go along with the 'side swept fringe trend', but decided to go for a slight side parting and my hair had grown a little meaning the flicks had started to grow out (thank goodness!) and my hair went  slightly wavy.

( I am on the far left, Thumbs up!)
This was taken on my 13th birthday and my hair has grown a little lighter. Obviously KFC was the bomb!

Year 9.
As you can see my hair hadn't dramatically changes since year 8 although it was a lot curlier. I am not to sure as to why, but possibly because it was growing longer!

( I am on the right)
This was taken on the last day of year 9, and it had grown quite a bit more into a bob shape. I did like it this length, but had a pesky fringe (which I still have) which I found super annoying! It had also lost a lot of its curls.

Year 10
I would show you my school picture, but I am sorry the photo is horrendous, but this was taken only a month afterwards and my hair is pretty much the same except the length is slowly getting longer. Sorry, so posy! Nice bit of 1D in the background as well ;)

(I am second from the right)
Year 11
Woah! A fringe! So this was taken possibly 4 or 5 weeks after starting year 11. And I got the fringe right after starting year 11. I also got it trimmed which I really regret because having a fringe and a bob really didn't suit me. I did like my fringe though but it grew so quickly! I would consider getting it back... Opinions?

So this was taken at the Olly Murs tour in March, and I grew out my fringe and my hair has grown a lot!

This final picture was taken a couple of days before my year 11 prom and my hair had grown even more and still have the same side parting.
